If you find yourself in the east end of Santa Rosa, New Mexico and enjoy classic cars, visit The Route 66 Auto Museum and Bozo’s Garage. You can locate it quickly off Route 66 because of the Yellow Hot Rod sitting atop a pole in its parking lot along with a host of other autos.

Once you step inside, you’ll see the curios shop to your right selling all sorts of goodies and t-shirts.  The wall directly ahead hosts Marilyn Monroe and Elvis on either side of the back seat cut out with memorabilia.  To your left is another cut-out car where the cash register is waiting along with a cheerful and helpful hostess. A mere $5.00 apiece gets you behind the wall to see the 30 plus advertised cars on display.

The back – Route 66 Auto Museum and Bozo’s Garage

The first vehicle that caught our attention is the one-off creation on display. Next was the 57 Chevy, one of my all-time favourite classic rides. Now let your eyes dance across the dangerous 30 miles an hour curves. Feel your palms itch as your top lip twitches and the butterflies in your stomach begin to flutter with anticipation. Fantasise about mashing your foot through the floorboard in some of these dependable American Muscle cars.

There are plenty of photos on the walls of race cars and relics as well as anything mechanical that goes fast or looks super sexy in heels.  It’s like a gearheads man cave. If it were in your neighbour’s backyard, you would hear the crack of a beer can, the revving of the latest tune-up and a whole lot of B.S. flying around about how fast this baby does the quarter-mile.

So, all in all, I enjoyed the stroll through Route 66 Auto Museum.  If you happen to have yourself a pocket full of extra dough, there were plenty of these vehicles for sale.  I was very tempted to make a few offers myself. Andrea changed the subject quite quickly.

Bozo never fails when it comes to classic, innovation, cutting edge, and a little of down home style, and precision. I’m native to Santa Rosa, grew up there and Santa Rosa is where I call my hometown, which runs through the infamous historic Route 66. But that’s not the only thing that Santa Rosa has to brag about. Bozos Garage aka Bozos historic museum, is a must see marker you dont want to miss out on and view the most amazing old classic cars and trucks brought back to their classic beauty and time capsuled with unique masterful precision of perfect done by Bozo himself, and his team if any. My hats off to him for his love of timeless metal, and passion for the art. Well done Bozo aka James Cordova, Well done!. You’ve not only did it, but put yourself on the Map, and in my book can say will be forever legendary for leaving your imprint in this world. Proud to know you and your beautiful family whom I call Friends but more like Family!
